Changing the game's title

I wanted to make a formal announcement regarding my decision to change the title of this game. For everyone who wants to just have the title revealed,

"Oh Deer, Someone's Home" is being changed to "Plaine Star: Oh Deer, Someone's Home."

For people who want an explanation of why this is occuring on an already published game, it's because of a titling conflict with another published game series. The development team "Cozy Cabin Studios" released a game titled "Oh Deer" on Steam on June 24th, 2024, and I had no idea that the game existed until I tried ego-searching for any fan art or discussions about my game. It's my fault for not thoroughly searching if the title was taken before I started work, but I've retitled my game in order to make it clear that it's separate from their game.

That said, the retitle was done with a few benefits in mind. Namely, I feel that "Plaine Star: Oh Deer, Someone's Home" has been popular enough that I might pursue sequels in the future, and having sequels titled with "Plaine Star" is more comfortable than releasing "Oh Deer, Someone's Home: In Space." I won't change the itch.io page's title until the Story Expansion update is ready for release, but I wanted to make it clear that the title is going to change in the future.

I'll create a different logo if I make a sequel to "Plaine Star: Oh Deer, Someone's Home," but here's the full-size image of what the title will look like.
