Plaine Star and Itch

I feel like it's an appropriate time to address the situation regarding my games, and the effort by payment processors to prohibit customers from buying pornographic media. Especially since itch.io has been making it clear that they're discussing banning all pornographic games.

This has been something that I've been expecting ever since 2025 started, and I made a post discussing the potential for "Plaine Star: Oh Deer, Someone's Home" being removed from Itch back in April, 2025. In that post, I said that I would continue to offer the game for free wherever I could publish it, and I'll post it to Dropbox if it ever gets taken off of Itch. In that case, I'll add a text box during the ending which advertises my Ko-Fi account, so that I can make money from donations. However, I only ask that people donate money if they legitimately enjoy "Plaine Star: Oh Deer, Someone's Home."

There are still plans to finish the "big update" that I've been talking about ever since the game came out. While it won't add an original soundtrack, it includes a new level, brand new artwork, and changes to the core gameplay. The only thing setting us back is having to change a handful of graphics to be less voyeuristic, otherwise we're only prohibited by when and where we can release the game. It should be finished before the 1 year anniversary, so look forward to that.
